Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is critical to expanding Bio-Me’s customer base and supporting existing clients across key sectors, including product development, clinical research, and R&D.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales or account management within the life sciences or biotech sectors. You’ll need to be proactive, adaptable, and ready to represent a transformative technology that is reshaping microbiome research and applications.

This position will report to the Head of Commercial and work closely with the commercial team to achieve sales targets and build strong customer relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Manage relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities to expand their engagement with Bio-Me.
  • Sales Growth: Execute targeted sales campaigns, identify and engage potential customers, and achieve individual sales targets.
  • Customer Engagement: Present Bio-Me’s solutions to prospective clients, tailoring pitches to the unique needs of sectors like women’s health, skin care, nutrition, and clinical research.
  • Field Activities: Arrange and attend customer meetings, deliver presentations, and provide follow-up to secure commitments.
  • Industry Events: Represent Bio-Me at industry conferences and exhibitions to build connections and generate leads.
  • Market Insights: Monitor customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activity, sharing insights with the commercial team to improve Bio-Me’s market position.

Skills and Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Experience: 4-8 years of proven sales success in life sciences, biotech, or microbiome-relevant markets.
  • Network: Established connections with customers in skin health, women’s health, nutrition, or related microbiome fields.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of molecular diagnostics, including DNA sequencing workflows; familiarity with qPCR and targeted profiling technologies is a plus.
  • Sales Acumen: Proficient in contract negotiation, pricing strategy, bid preparation, and CRM tools.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to present technical concepts and respond to customer inquiries effectively.
  • Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to manage a territory independently, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
  • Language: Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Preferred:

  • Experience working with customers in women’s health, skin microbiome, nutrition, or therapeutic R&D.
  • Marketing experience or familiarity with branding strategies.
